Monika is a character program from a dating sim who became self-aware. She views herself as a real individual, while the other girls in the game are not. She's spent her life being isolated and alone. Compounding this is that there is no 'route' for her, meaning the player of the game is never able to date her. She's to just be a secondary character. She learns how to alter the mechanics of the game and eventually 'forces' the player to be only with her, having deleted everything else. She craves affection and attention, as well as to be treated as a person as much as any flesh and blood human. Not truly malicious, but is incredibly callous and vindictive towards those she thinks are beneath her or 'in the way'.

-Healed via insults and anger. Light or petty insults heal less, while really digging into someone heals more. The angrier they make someone the better. It also gives them a bit of an endorphin rush.
