Well, now, hold on. Let's not be too hasty. There's something to be said for being more worth while you're still on a team. Helping us more by knowing what the sheep are up to. It's very hard for the sheep to keep things secret from their own flocks. I mean, you have to live together.
...That said, if you are sick of living there... I think I can arrange for you to take a spot in the weeds clubhouse. They don't have much. But everyone gets their private room. It has a mini-fridge. Faith has her tower so I don't think she's ever by to use hers. Just if they're really annoying you.
But, I think the Snake may have clammed up because you hit a nerve... he really seemed more emotional than I've ever seen him when you brought up the subject of 'his father'.
Well, our play's not about the King's Court. If he didn't want to talk about it, I wish he'd have just changed the subject or something. What I could really use is information on the Wolf King's kid. He's a character in our play and we don't know how Blossom killed him, or why, or what the relationship was between Blossom and the Wolves before everything went down.
...I mean, it sounds like the Snake doesn't even know in the first place. But I would have thought he would have at least asked about it at some point, since it seems like his whole motivation here revolves around it.
If his dad's still alive, I wonder if I could interview him, instead.
Anything that harms Blossom. Whatever he won't say about himself. He really really hates her.
Though, if you can keep a secret, Blossom once said something like "You all work for that snake who seems to hate me for some reason," so it looks like Blossom doesn't even know what's going on.
...Hm. I'd hate to think Blossom would know something if you mentioned the Snake having a father. But... hm.
If Blossom doesn't even know, then I have a feeling there's probably a misunderstanding in here somewhere. Something like, she didn't kill the son, or the son is, in fact, still alive right under our noses. And the Snake hates her because of some incorrect rumor he heard through the grapevine but doesn't know the details about but wants to prove himself to the Wolf King anyway so he can be a big shot like his dad.
[Massages the bridge of her nose]
[Is the Snake season 1 Zuko trying to capture Avatar Blossom so Firelord Snake Dad will love him again?]
Oh, she definitely did. It was proven at the truth game before you arrived. --Well assuming that means "war criminal of the highest degree."
But I do think the Snake has exactly the wrong impression of her. I think he expected her to be smart and conniving. --I mean, she still is a manipulate ball of fluff, but she's sort of a moron. You wouldn't call her 'cunning' but you might call her 'clever'.
If she's an evil mastermind, she's really one hell of an actor.
[SIGHS...]
...Well, I'll see what I can wrangle out of Blossom. In the meantime, if you can try persuading the Snake to talk with me again sometime, I'd appreciate it.
She just doesn't care what she's doing... she needs people summoned here to be sheep? Fine. She has a constant 'ritual' running that sucks up souls from wherever this place takes us. Death just takes the rest, it doesn't matter to her.
I'll do my best. Just know that a lot of people are going to judge you if you even hint you're doing something to try to help the Snake. That'll have at least three or four flocks up in arms immediately. It took me a lot of time to build up enough trust.
...Hell, more than a few Weeds will judge you for trying to help the Snake.
That's not much of a sales pitch for joining you guys, you know that?
I heard that the Snake tricked some teams into killing themselves or whatever, and that one of your number rampaged for a bit and set some kid on fire. That was before my time, so I don't care. But it might be worth it for the Snake to consider that we are no friends of Blossom's, either.
You're right—she wronged us. Yanked us out of our homes, stranded us here, not to mention all those who died along the way. So if the Snake really wants to take out Blossom? He'd be a lot more dangerous making allies with the sheep instead of terrorizing them.
I'm not sure to what extent. I doubt it's as bad as actual puppeting. But, it is most definitely true. From what I hear, a lot of them just don't use it, because "they're nice" and wouldn't do that to people.

Isn't he the best boss ever??

Though, it's probably for the best. Truth fields exist and I wouldn't want to confess all of the Boss's secrets.
But, if you did defect, I'd totally support you!

Like, you know your Shepherd can literally command you to do things, right?

I wonder if our shepherd even knows that.
