Clover has agreed to most of your terms, but we have a few conditions of our own we'd like to stress first.

One: If we don't want to be disturbed, you can still seek shelter in our barn, but you aren't to bother anyone if they don't want to talk. Don't push the matter.

Honestly, this applies to any scenario: if someone doesn't want to talk, don't push it.

Two: You aren't to ruin our reputation. Ideally, you won't speak about this alliance at all, but the girls were very insistent that you don't drag our name through the mud. I assume you won't do this, considering your own condition about me defending your own reputation, but it's worth mentioning as something they were concerned about.

That's really it.

If someone says "Don't do something," I won't do it.

I don't plan on mentioning it. I don't want someone with a knife with your name on it banging on your door saying "Give us the weed." --But I do get chased for insincere and very specious reasons. And sometimes real reasons, but the person is grossly overreacting. Your reputation is going to be hurt if you openly protect me in that instance.

Would you defend me like you would someone else in your flock?

I doubt anyone here is stupid enough to challenge me directly like that, anyway. No matter what reasons they might have, I don't enjoy being told what to do- let alone threatened.

...that depends on my mood. I wouldn't prioritize you above them, but I doubt I'd sit by and watch if you were in any serious danger. A dead informant isn't exactly useful.

Have you found out anything new since we last exchanged information? If not, I'd be curious to know what the Snake has to say about the demons in the mist.

It means something to me. Or I wouldn't keep asking.

You know how weeds can travel through the mist? That comes from the Snake. And he's better at it. And he doesn't have sheep following him. Therefore, out of self-preservation, he doesn't really approach them or test their capabilities. He didn't have much to add about them, other than that they're all dangerous, and none of them should be underestimated.

As for something new... well, we've been kept kinda cooped up since the eye is open and the rituals sort of occupied people's time. I already told you about our new weed addition.

That makes me even more curious about where he slinks off to, if he can avoid the demons so easily. What is on the other side of the mist? If you could get any kind of hints about that, I'd consider that very useful information.

I wasn't close to either of the two who turned. But, given experiences, no.

But, the main difference is Fifi doesn't seem content to stay with Rose. He actually appreciated being invited to the clubhouse.

He already seems to suspect I have an agreement with you, and Clover in general. From the result of the bomb game. He called it "independent contracting," which... I still don't know what he meant, but he was being very sort of shady about it.

At any rate, I denied it, and told him, truthfully, that I did it on my own and you were threatening to kill me every step. So, if that comes up, you know to expect it.
